Thorndon Summer Pool
Thorndon Summer Pool has now closed and will be open again next summer.
It is a 30.5-metre heated outdoor summer pool. It is the perfect place for lane swimming during your lunch hour. Its terraced seating and shade structures also make it the ideal place for sun-smart relaxation. The pool was built in the 1920s and has been popular with city office workers and locals since.

Monday and Wednesday: 6.30am-8pm
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 6.30am-7pm
Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: 8.30am-6.30pm
Christmas day: Closed
