Kilbirnie Recreation Centre


Kilbirnie Recreation Centre is a modern facility designed to cater for wheel-based activities including roller and inline skating, scooters, skateboards and bikes. It can be hired for sport and corporate events. The centre is home to Tinytown, a preschool play space, and hosts a Roller Disco once a year.

Standard Hours:
Monday-Friday: 9am-10pm
Saturday: 9am-9pm
Sunday: 9am-9pm

$55 per hour - (one-off bookings during peak hours)*
$45 per hour - (regular bookings during peak hours)

*Peak Monday to Friday from 5pm, weekends and public holidays 

*Leisure Card is the Wellington City Council scheme that allows people on low incomes and people who meet other criteria discounted entry into a range of recreation and leisure services. Phone 499 4444 or click here to see if you are eligible.
