Lyall Bay Surf Life Saving Club
The Lyall Bay Surf Life Saving Club, established in 1910, was the first surf life saving club to patrol in New Zealand. The club has been providing a volunteer service focused on saving lives and preventing injury for Lyall Bay and south coast beach users and the Wellington Community over the last 95 years.
The club needs new members to continue in our mission of preventing death and injury on Lyall Bay beach. Surf Life Saving is a fantastic movement to be involved with. Join the club and you will learn new skills, compete against great athletes, and meet many new friends.
Lyall Bay has programs for members who are:
- 7-14 years old (JuniorSurf)
- 14-19 years old (Junior Members, active lifeguards)
- 19 + Years Old (Senior Members, active lifeguards)
- 30 + Masters
- Associate members
